Our core objective is to supply safe and reliable electricity and heat while containing the social and environmental impact of our business wherever possible.
The Group embarked on the energy market in 2013 when it bought the Chvaletice power station from the ČEZ Group. Today, it is one of the major utilities on the Czech energy market, using lignite from the self-operated ČSA surface mine to generate electricity.
Moreover, Seven Energy operates the lignite-fired Chvaletice power station in the East Bohemian Region that processes lignite from Northern Bohemia. The four power station blocks generate electricity combining standard products covering base load (24 hours) as well as peak load (12 hours), featuring a dynamic output from 100 to 820 MW. The company offers both long-term and spot market contracts including trading on intraday markets.
